Seems like Samsung has something really good cooking, want to know what it is?
Note 7 was a huge disaster for Samsung.
And while it did not cost much financially it did manage to scratch the reputation slightly.
As Samsung cleaned up the mess after the explosion (pun intended), iPhone relished bathing in the added attention.
But Samsung came back with a bang!
With Galaxy S8 and S8 plus with their beautiful infinity screen and a headphone jack, the new iPhone 7 model that was not very different from the previous model was shaken.
What is Samsung Planning on doing this time?
Now with iPhone X (and two disappointing improved versions of iPhone 6 again), as iPhone plays catch-up Samsung, while ahead, is already planning its next move.
And they have no plans of being subtle about it.
President of Samsung’s mobile has already made the official announcement, not 24 hours before the unveiling of iPhone X, about the company working on “folding-phone” and adding “for sure we will launch the product [in 2018]”
When is it Coming Out?
That’s something Koh decided to be subtle about by just vaguely pointing out that it would be released sometime in the year 2018.
But the excitement, confidence and a few reports show some read signs.
According to many reports, Galaxy X has already passed the radio certification and the Bluetooth certification, which is something that is done before the phones go up on the sale.
There have been rumors about Samsung working on folding phones forever, but it is the first time that it has been talked about officially.
Surely Samsung has the puzzle solved, or it won’t be aired.
And to be honest, it won’t come as any surprise if Galaxy X actually beats the release date of Samsung Galaxy S9.
But what’s all the rush?
That is the question, isn’t it?
Why is Samsung rushing to release a phone that might possibly be the most innovative mobile phone yet? Do they not want to be sure, or do a few test runs?
The time is of essence
And Samsung realized that.
They believe that their Galaxy X can not only steal the attention from iPhone X but can make also make it look bleak and quaint.
For every innovation in iPhone X, Samsung can smugly say “been there, done that”
Where iPhone is basking in the glory of their first edge-to-edge screen phone, Samsung already had infinity screen with Galaxy S8.
Where iPhone X had the screen-to0body ratio of 82.9%, Samsung S8 had 83.6% and S8 Plus had 84%.
Given that facial recognition may be a step ahead, but Samsung also had iris scan.
Are they rightfully confident?
You see, while iPhone is still exploring the newness of OLED, its old news for Samsung.
With Galaxy X it’s not only making improvements in the old phones but entirely changing the game.
When you play the Game of Phones, you win or you flop.
